The All Terrain Knee (AT-Knee) offers its users valuable innovations by incresed safety during stance-phase, optimized energy efficiency, variable cadence and the unlimited use in water.
The AT-Knee in its form is unique, wich is a result of about a decade of research, clinical trials and developement. The aim was to reinterprete the rapidly made technical accomplishements in the field:

ASPL-mechanism (Automatic Stance Phase Lock)
The ASPL uses the multi-axial design and the physiologically occuring forces during walking. Once fully extendet, the AT-Knee locks automatically and uses the natural movement of its user to initiate swing-phase smoothly.
